Changing Your USC Password
All USC employees automatically receive a USC email account assigned by the Information Technology Services Department (ITS).
To activate your email address, complete the following steps:
- Step 1: Go to http://itservices.usc.edu/
- Step 2: Click on “Your USC Account” tab located at the top of the screen.
- Step 3: Click on “Change Your Password” in the “Your USC Account” (top) Section.
- Step 4: Follow the directions to sign on to the password change screen. You will need your USCNet ID (username), your 10 digit USC ID number, and your current password in order to successfully change your password.
- Step 5: Follow the directions on the “Change your USC and Google Apps at USC Password” screen to successfully change your password. Your new password must contain at least 12 but no more than 32 characters. Your password can be all lower case text but it is recommended that you include special characters to make it more secure.
PLEASE NOTE: It may take up to one hour for your password change to become active.
